Zombies are back....

Another zombie-card, this time for my brothers birthday.
The zombie is a stamp from Brett Weldele. I colored it with Promarkers and cut it out.
The papers are from 7 Dots Studio and Joy! Crafts. I layered it with mesh, punchinella, thread, gesso, stamping.....
I bought some buttons in London recently. I finally managed to use one with 'the Walking Dead' theme. Both me and my brother love that TV-show.
I used Dymo for the sentiment.
Had so much fun putting this card together.
Have a wonderful summer!

London Calling - 7 Dots Studio, Urban theme

After a trip to London this spring, I had lots of photos and ideas for scrapbooking pages. But I finally got started when I saw the June Challenge - Urban theme at the 7 Dots Studio blog.
7 Dots Studio is my favourite when it comes to paper collections. And they are especially perfect for mixed media style.
I combined several collections from 7 Dots Studio. Yuletide, Homegrown, Cold Country, Fortune-teller, and maybe even more. I kind of lost track....
First some white gesso, and then a stencil from The Crafter's Workshop with grey ink.
Some random stamping, before I started building layers with papers. The doilie is a die from Tim Holtz.
The houses are also a die from Tim Holtz. I've had it for many years, and finally I found the perfect use for it. I used some souvenir buttons and picks I bought in London.
The title are stickers from Websters Pages.
Finally some embellishment from Finnabair and Queen & Co, together with some splatters.
And I decided to put some wire from Prima around the photo.
Loved making this page, and I'm looking forward to the next challenge at the 7 Dots Studio blog.
Here is the inspirational circle.

Happy Hour

I made this page with a photo from last summers vacation in Mallorca. My daughter loved getting colorful drinks, especially if they included some kind of decoration.
The background is created with Distress Crayons and water, after the paper was protected with a thin layer of clear gesso.
Then I added some white gesso, and also some stamping and embossing with white embossing powder.
Some random stamping and lots of splatters. I used a black Sharpie to draw the circle.
The heart and the flowers are both dies from Tim Holtz. And I used alphabet dies from Kaboks to make the foam letters for the title.
Hopefully we'll have some warmer weather soon. Today my daughters had hot cocoa for lunch...

Birthdaycard

I made this birthdaycard for my American cousin, and the theme just had to be owls. He knows how much I love owls.
The papers are from Fabscraps. And I also used some diecut-frames.
The owl is from Maya Road. And the heart is a die from Tim Holtz/Sizzix.
I also used a die from Joy! Crafts to make the banner of ballons. A feather and some punchinella to add some black elements.
The sentiments are in Norwegian, the die from Kaboks and the button from Magic Monday.
I just love these colors together, so luckily I still have some papers left.
